Past & Present cars

We have had a number of Rotary's over the last 5 years. Here are some from the past and some we have and are working on at the moment.

I concider myself lucky to have seen huge leaps forward in the rotary scene and I've only had one for 5 years, since 2000. Even then, thanks to the influences of some of the earlier pioneers, its always lead me in to trouble with being first, or trying something different.
Car was pretty much stock then but was one of the first in the country to go single turbo. Here on the rollers making approx 350-400 bhp.
This now in the workshop to under take more modifications.

This car was the most fun I ever had, she started life as a stock twin turbo and was converted in a single, basically we took the engine and single (TO4E) from the Black car above and tweeked her to 365bhp at the hubs and best strip time was 12.68 although more down to inabliity in launching. The bonnet was one of our first prototypes playing with colours and carbon in one mould. She was sold on in 2004 to make room for more projects :-(

When I first bought her i thought I was buying a stock manual car, but arrived as a Auto. Only mod ever carried out on her was to try our prototype fibre glass vented bonnet, she made a great town driver. She was sold in 2004 for an engagement ring of all things.When will we ever learn.

In 1980 I was fortunate enough to be able to drive my fathers 1st gen RX7 a black TWR limited edition. I could not believe my luck when this was offered to me in 2005 the identical model with only 30k miles on the clock. So I had to have her.

When I first bought this I was not aware of its significants, and had thoughts of a 70's style muscle car, but once I knew it was possibly the only RX4 in the UK that was factory built with the 13b engine and 5 speed box, it immediately became a restoration job, long way to go but in no rush. Has sat around for approx 10-15 years in storage so in very good condition and has a genuine 54k on the clock.

This project has been in the workshop for approx 3 years, and when finished will be totally unique in the world. Unfortunately its been one set back after another due to third parties that have not been able to do what they promise. It will get finished just needs time and money to redo the damage done by others, so watch this space.

Last year this was our 3rd gen RX7 for the UK D1 championships and hopefully the European. Rob Mayes was our driver and Im lucky to have a great driver on board for a very exciting season.
Now sold to a Tony who has some very exciting racing ahead as he prepares her for a dedicated life on track. More on Tony's progress as we support his efforts this year.
